Google, Huffington Post provide lounges at RNC

TAMPA, Fla. – Thanks to the deep pockets of web giants Google and the Huffington Post, reporters, delegates and convention guests had accommodations to rest their heels, get wired and recharged.

Inside the convention center, the brightly colored Google lounge served up free coffee and convenient charging stations for smartphones, tablets and laptops.

Bloggers and journalists filled the space and feverishly typed, tweeted and texted the buzz of the day.
