Highs in 70s forecast for Central Florida

Weekend temperatures warm into 80s

ORLANDO, Fla. – After a day of rain, cooler air arrives in Central Florida, bringing pleasant temperatures and steady breezes to the region.

"After a few morning showers, rain moves out and crier air builds in," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.  "With more dry air, there will be more sunshine by the afternoon."

Temperatures will warm to 78 degrees on Wednesday and 81 on Thursday.

Overnight lows will be near 60 degrees.

"We heat up above the average of 81 degrees to the mid-80s for the weekend," Bridges said.

The next chance of rain in Central Florida is Monday at 30 percent.
