A man who lives across the street from the home said he heard "boom, boom boom" around 10 p.m. Sunday. He saw police swarming the area. shortly afterward.

"I come outside, too many police (are) out here," neighbor Juan Stefarnese said.

Authorities said they were called to a home in the 2000 block of R.J. Circle, where they found a man's body. Police are not yet identifying the victim.

"They just asked if we've heard anything, seen anything, and just said something happened up the street," said Todd Timmons, who lives down the street from the home.

Christine Nelson lives next to the home and said the people who live there are new to the neighborhood.

"They don't talk much but they don't say hi, like I said, and we say hi to each other. That's it," Nelson said.

Several other neighbors said they have noticed cars going in and out of the driveway to the home all day since their new neighbors moved in.

"I mean, there are a lot of nice cars that go in and out, but they're usually pretty quiet, everything is usually pretty quiet,” Timmons said. “And this is how it always is, (a) serene, peaceful place.”

Blue powder was left Monday on some of the cars in the driveway, where police dusted for fingerprints.

Police asked people who live in the neighborhood to view videos from their home security systems, but so far, nothing of significance has turned up.
