Black Lives Matter holds rally in Orlando Orlando Blackout March brings police, community together
ORLANDO, Fla. – At a Black Lives Matter rally Sunday night in the heart of downtown Orlando, hundreds gathered to make their voices heard after two deadly shootings in the U.S. involving black men and white police officers.
The rally, called the Orlando Blackout March, started at Lake Eola and ended at Orlando Police Headquarters.
The protest was peaceful, with officers walking with the crowd through the streets.
During the rally, protesters could also be seen shaking hands and hugging officers.
Orlando's peaceful rally came after several violent protests around the country that have led to hundreds of arrests.
