ORLANDO, Fla. – Jesse Davis has been sentenced to life in prison in the death of two Winter Park teens on Friday.
Judge Alan S. Apte sentenced Davis on 2 counts of first degree murder and 2 counts of kidnapping to life in prison with time served. He was also sentenced to life in prison on his attempted murder charges from a prior incident.

Deputies said Davis murdered two teenagers -- 16-year-old Nicholas Presha and 18-year-old Jeremy Stewart -- along the Cady Way Trail on April 15. He entered a guilty plea on all charges at an emergency plea hearing on Friday.
Davis and his parents were in the courtroom on Friday, his mother crying as he agrees to the plea and as he was sentenced. Davis' mother mouthed, "I love you" as Davis was fingerprinted and booked into jail.
No victim impact statements were made at the sentencing, only a lawyer for one of the victims saying the victim's, "thoughts and prayers are with the victims' families, as well as Davis."
Hector Rodriguez is also charged with the death of the teens.
Davis also entered a guilty plea to violation of probation, which he was on for aggravated battery at the time of the slayings.
Davis was found mentally competent to stand trial back in September.
