ORLANDO, Fla. – At least eight passengers were injured Monday when a JetBlue flight experienced turbulence while flying from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Orlando, officials said.

Eight passengers aboard Flight 1134 were taken to Florida Hospital East, but their conditions were not released.
The plane landed at Orlando International Airport at 8:51 p.m., and medical personnel met the flight when it arrived. The passengers were then taken to the hospital.
Officials said there was no impact on airport operations.
News 6 obtained cellphone video from passenger Veronica Hernandez Torres, who was aboard the flight, showing medical personnel on the plane after it landed and emergency vehicles meeting the plane at the gate.
Hernandez Torres told News 6 the flight was a "horrible experience" and that she and her daughter are still in pain from it.
A picture a passenger snapped also showed food and beverages spilled.
JetBlue released a statement to News 6 on Tuesday that said, "On Monday, May 9, JetBlue flight 1134 experienced turbulence while en route from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Orlando. The flight arrived in Orlando at 8:52 p.m. ET. Medical personnel met the aircraft upon arrival. Eight customers were transported to a local hospital for further evaluation and have since been released. A JetBlue Care Team member was on-site last night at the hospital to support those customers and our customer support team is reaching out to all other customers on the flight."
No further details were immediately available.
