A Florida woman is preparing to saddle up for one big ride across the Sunshine State, according to News 6 partner WPLG.

Marie Lim is the owner of the Happi Farm in Davie.

Lim told Local 10 News that she is starting to gear up to head across parts of the state of Florida in February to support her program, Heroes on Stallions.

The program aims to raise awareness for U.S. military veterans who are in need.

Lim will begin her journey from her farm in Davie on Feb. 5 and head north through Palm Beach County, Port Saint Lucie, Melbourne, before ending up in Daytona Beach later that month.

Lim said she’s doing this epic ride on her 15-year-old Tennessee walking horse named Velvet.
