“Lambert and Perez were allegedly friends with one another, and the shooting appears to have been negligence exacerbated by Lambert’s clear disregard for Perez’ life following the shooting and attempts to conceal evidence,” the department said in a release.

No other details, including what led to the shooting, have been released.

Lambert faces charges of second-degree homicide and destruction of evidence.

Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Sgt. Dave Clarke at 407-877-4876 or Crimeline at 407-423-TIPS.
