Child among 2 injured in Lake County house fire, officials say 3 others safely evacuated
2 people were injured in a fire in Fruitland Park (Lake County Fire Rescue)
LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – An adult and a child were injured in a residential fire in Lake County on Saturday evening, according to a news release.
Lake County Fire Rescue officials said the two injured were taken by helicopter for medicare care, but did not elaborate on their condition.
According to the release, three other people in the home were safely evacuated from the structure that is a total loss.

Officials said that the Leesburg Fire Department assisted with the fire.
No other information was released.
