Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, commissioners to recieve raise

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and the city commissioners will all receive big raises next year after approving their own pay hikes in the 2014 budget.

Dyer and the six commissioners will each be making 21 percent more come January.

The commissioners who currently earn $49,383 a year will be making $60,000 after the increase. Dyer's salary will go from $160,892 to $195,500 under the approved change.

Local 6 has reached out to the Mayor's office but has not heard back at this time.
