Start times for 2015 Budweiser speed weeks' events set

Events to include annual Daytona 500

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – NASCAR's biggest, richest and most prestigious race, the Daytona 500, will start at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22.

This will be the sixth year "The Great American Race" will start at 1 p.m.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be seeking his second consecutive victory at the Daytona 500. The last time a back-to-back win occurred was 1995 win by Sterling Marlin.

This year, fans will get a sneak peek of Daytona Rising, the $400 million redevelopment. Approximately 40,000 new seats will be available on the west side of the stadium, from Turn 1 to the center of the track. Fans will enjoy wider more comfortable seating and new amenities created by Daytona Rising.

Tickets are now on sale for the annual Daytona 500 and all of the Speedweek events and can be purchased by calling 1-800-PITSHOP or visiting DaytonaInternationalSpeedway.com.

Start times for the other events at Budweiser Speedweek 2014 are as follows:

• 53rd Rolex 24 IMSA TUDOR United Sports Car Championship race, Jan. 24-25 at 2:10 p.m.

• Lucas Oil 200 MAV TV ARCA Racing series, Feb. 14 at 4:15 p.m.

• The Sprint Unlimited, Feb. 14 at 8:15 p.m.

• Daytona 500 Qualifying, Feb. 15 at 1:30 p.m.

• Budweiser Duel At Daytona, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m.

• 250 NASCAR Truck Series Race, Feb. 20 at 7:30 p.m.

• 300 NASCAR Series race, Feb. 21 at 3:30 p.m.
