DeBARY, Fla. – Volusia County deputies found the man they say broke into at least one car at a DeBary park, stole credit cards and used them in department stores--with a little boy in tow.
Deputies said 31-year-old Jonathan Oquendo, an Orlando resident, broke into a car in Gemini Springs Park and emptied out Swati Panchal's purse earlier this month.
"It was terrifying, we got really scared, really scared," she said.
Panchal told deputies that purchases had been made at Marshalls in Orlando, and investigators obtained the video showing the man and a young boy buying shoes.
Purchases had also been made at Ross and at a gas station.
Deputies said the break-in was the sixth case in 2013 and are warning park visitors to not leave valuables in vehicles.
"It's a little unsettling because I thought this was a fairly safe park, it seems like a quiet park," said Debby Kuhn, a visitor.
Oquendo was arrested and booked into the Orange County Jail Wednesday morning. He faces charges of vehicle burglary, fraudulent use of a credit card and forgery.

It's not clear if he is man is sought in all the car burglaries.
