2 arrested for shooting man in Buffalo Wild Wings parking lot, police say

Man suffers life-threatening injuries

SANFORD, Fla. – Two people have been arrested in connection with an incident Saturday in the parking lot of a Buffalo Wild Wings in which one man was shot.

Jerome Lafortune, 19, and Destiny Cardozo, 20 turned themselves in to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office on Sunday, officials said.

Cardozo and Lafortune had warrants for their arrest on charges of attempted first-degree murder.
Police received a call at 3:30 p.m. Saturday about a shooting.

Police found a man who had been shot in the parking lot. Police said he suffered life-threatening injuries.
Police said they determined that Lafortune and Cardozo had arranged to meet the victim and his girlfriend at the restaurant to settle some "longstanding family differences."

The men started to argue and Lafortune and Cardozo began to leave the parking lot, police said. As they were leaving, they fired a single shot from their vehicle, striking the victim, police said.
