ORLANDO, Fla. – A man was shot multiple times and a woman was beaten early Monday in a home invasion at a gated Orlando apartment, police said.
The attack was reported at 1:09 a.m. at the Heritage on Millenia apartments near the Mall at Millenia.
Orlando police said several intruders entered the apartment, which was occupied by several people.
A man was shot several times and at least one woman was beaten, police said.
The man was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center for treatment. His condition is not known.
The assailants fled the apartment and got into a vehicle that was waiting in the parking lot, police said.
No description of the intruders of their getaway vehicle have been released.
