ORLANDO, Fla. – An Orange County man is in jail after deputies say he broke into a home and tried to rape a woman in her bedroom.
According to an arrest report, Francisco Lopez, 26, entered a locked apartment on West Oak Ridge Road east of John Young Parkway early Sunday.

The victim told deputies she awoke to Lopez on top of her and trying to rape her.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office said the victim struggled with Lopez and was able to run away and call 911.
Deputies arrested Lopez a short time later on charges of kidnapping, attempted sexual battery and burglary of an occupied dwelling with assault and battery.
An arrest affidavit said the victim did not know Lopez, who is being held without bond.
