Masked gunmen attack, rob outlet mall manager, Orange County cops say

Deputies search for gunmen in Orlando Premium Outlets robbery

ORLANDO, Fla. – Authorities are searching for two gunmen who robbed and attacked the store manager at the Orlando Premium Outlets on Friday morning.

Deputies said the men forced their way into the Levi's Outlet on Vineland Avenue at around 4:45 a.m.

Once inside, one of the gunmen forced the manager to the back of the store and pistol-whipped him twice, according to deputies.

The gunmen left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

Detectives said they are looking into the possibility that the two posed as employees to get inside.

The store manager was taken to Dr. Phillips Hospital.

About six employees were in the store during the robbery.

Management of Orlando Premium Outlets released a statement on Friday, saying "We want to express our concern for the store employees involved in this incident. Our security team works closely with local law enforcement to provide a safe environment for our shoppers, tenants and employees and we are actively working with Orlando PD in their investigation."

Later Friday, deputies released a composite sketch of one of the assailants.
