APOPKA, Fla. - A lockdown was lifted at an Orange County middle school after a missing student was found safe.
The search for the unaccounted student took place at Piedmont Lakes Middle School. School officials said the student left campus, prompting the Orange County Sheriff's Office to search for him.
The boy was found safe in a wooded area behind the school about an hour later.
No other details have been released.
