Motorcyclist killed, 6 injured in Orange County crash

4 children taken to Orlando hospital as precaution

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A motorcyclist was killed, two women were seriously injured and four children were taken to a hospital Tuesday night after a crash in Orange County.

Justin Tatro, 23, of Orlando, was killed in the crash, which occurred around 7 p.m. on Good Homes Road at State Road 408.

Randee Gianina, 30, of Venezuela, and Helga Teran, 35, of Miami, suffered serious injuries in the crash.  Four children were also taken to a hospital as a precaution.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Gianina was driving a minivan southbound on Good Homes Road and made a left turn toward S.R. 408, into the path of Tatro.

The front of Tatro's motorcycle struck the van, and he was ejected from his vehicle, troopers said.  Tatro was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
