Man arrested in Orlando triple slaying

1 man found dead in street, 2 found dead in home, police say

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man has been arrested in connection with a triple slaying last month in Orlando.

Terrence Lewis, 29, turned himself in to authorities early Thursday and was booked into the Orange County Jail on three counts of first-degree murder, officials said.

The shootings were reported July 27 near Grand Street and Parramore Avenue.

After the shootings, Orlando police said they found a 34-year-old man in the street and took him to a hospital, where he died.

Officers also went into a home in the 1200 block of Parramore Avenue and found Rodedrick Smith, 40, and Joseph Slade, 36, dead, according to police.

"We're not sure about the relationship of the victims to each other, but we know that one person did live here," Orlando police spokeswoman Michelle Guido said.

Orlando police on Wednesday asked for the public's help in locating Lewis.

Lewis is being held on no bond.
