Naked man dancing in rain questioned by Melbourne police Neighbor alerts police about incident No description found
MELBOURNE, Fla. – A 48-year-old Melbourne man was questioned by police after he stripped off his clothes and danced naked for several minutes in the rain, News 6 partner Florida Today reports.
Police were alerted to the incident after a neighbor spotted the man about 3:15 p.m. in the 900 block of Coleman Street and Avocado Avenue in Eau Gallie.
“It was raining pretty (heavy) at the time, pretty nasty. But he was dancing naked in the rain,” Cmdr. Dan Lynch of the Melbourne Police Department told Florida Today, adding officers sat with the man to "figure out his concerns.”
Lynch said the man went back in his apartment and got into some clothes to talk with the patrol officers.
It was not immediately known if charges were filed in the case.
