NASA to livestream meteor shower

ORLANDO, Fla. – The 2014 Lyrid meteor shower has started, and NASA is livestreaming a portion of it online this year.

Lyrids are visible from April 16-25, and the peak is from April 21-22, with an estimated 20 meteors per hour.

According to NASA, the best viewing time is midnight until dawn of April 22. They will have a livestream of the Lyrids starting at 8 p.m. on the night of the 21st here.
