Odor in classroom prompts evacuation at Rolling Hills Elementary

Firefighters assess 2 people

ORLANDO, Fla. – A building at Rolling Hills Elementary in Orlando had to be evacuated after complaints of a gas odor in one of the classrooms Monday morning, according to Orange County Fire Rescue.

Two people were being assessed at the school. It is not known if those two people are students or school employees.

Fire officials have not yet determined the cause of the odor.

Information on what building was evacuated and what classroom was experiencing odor was not immediately available.
