Orlando shooting prompts standoff, but no one found in home

Police continue to search for shooter

ORLANDO, Fla. – A police standoff that started with a shooting at an Orlando home ended with no one being found inside.

The incident began late Thursday at a home near Anderson Street and Westmoreland Drive in Parramore.

Orlando police officers surrounded the home after finding a person with a gunshot wound, but when they swarmed the house, they didn't find anyone inside.  It's not known how the shooter escaped.

The condition of the victim, whose name and age have not been released, is not known.
