Orlando teen reported missing found safe in Alabama

Family friend teen was traveling with arrested on kidnapping charges

Orlando police say the 14-year-old with Asperger's syndrome who was reported missing last month has been found safe in Alabama and the family friend he was traveling with has been arrested.

Bladon Rogers had been missing from Orlando since April 14. He was found in Mobile, Alabama by the FBI, according to police. Rogers is in the custody of the Alabama Department of Human Resources.

The family friend, Christopher Kemp, 29, was arrested on charges including kidnapping. He was booked into jail around 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Bladon's disappearance sparked a missing child alert to be issued and investigators tracked Bladon to be boarding a Megabus in downtown Orlando with Kemp. Police at the time said they were believed to be heading to Atlanta.

No other details were immediately available.
