Woman killed in Orlando hit-and-run crash identified

Fatal wreck occurs at Lee, Eggleston roads

ORLANDO, Fla. – A woman was killed Sunday in a hit-and-run crash at Lee and Eggleston roads in Orlando, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said Lisiane Booz, 29, of Orlando, died in the crash, which happened around 8:45 a.m. on Lee Road near Edgewater Drive.

The FHP said a car was traveling east in the right lane of Lee Road when it hit Booz, who was trying to cross Lee Road from the north side.

The car was described as a gray or black passenger vehicle, possibly a Nissan Maxima or Toyota, and was last seen traveling eastbound on Lee Road. Troopers said the car could have paint with sparkles in it, and the vehicle was leaking antifreeze, with damage to its front end.

Witnesses said the car stopped briefly after hitting the woman, but the driver then took off.

Booz was pronounced dead at the scene.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.
