Pedestrian struck, killed by truck, Palm Bay police say

PALM BAY, Fla. – A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a truck, Palm Bay police said.

The incident happened Thursday just west of Krefeld Road NW on Emerson Drive NW.

Police said it appears the male victim was attempting to cross the road and was struck by a truck traveling west.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead Thursday evening, police said. He was not identified by police.

All westbound lanes were shut down Thursday evening from Krefeld, police said.
