ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police have charged a man with first-degree murder on Tuesday in the case of a woman found dismembered in Lake Underhill after a search warrant was served at a house on Friday.

Police said a news conference on Monday that Rafael Gonzalez, 46, was arrested on destruction of evidence charges related to the case of Olivia Diggs, whose body was found in Lake Underhill last month.

On Tuesday, Gonzalez was charged with first-degree murder and abuse of a dead body in Diggs' death.

"We want community to know we're not looking for anyone else in this case," Orlando Police Chief John Mina said referring to the Lake Underhill homicide.

Police said that Diggs and Gonzalez met on a Lynx bus and exchanged phone numbers.

"There was a loud bang. I would say maybe an explosion. Maybe a shotgun. Kind of loud bang," said Natasha Pavlicek, a neighbor a few homes down.

It was just after 9 a.m. when Pavlicek got home after dropping her son off at school when she heard the loud noise.

"My husband looked out the front and saw unmarked police vehicles all the way down the road. Wrapped around," said Pavlicek.

Orlando police removed a dresser out of the home Friday afternoon and loaded it into one of two CSI vans at the home.

Around 5 p.m. three men began to board up two windows on the front of the home.

Sara West has lived in the neighborhood for 12 years.

"I noticed the DEA people because they parked their SUVs outside my front door. And then I saw the dogs and heard a few people going in and heard them breaking the door down," said West.

West recalls seeing three dogs and eight DEA agents.

"I asked the lady, 'excuse me, what's going on?' And she said, 'oh, I'm sorry we can't talk to you.' And then I heard the door being broken into and the dogs in the yard smelling and sniffing," said West.

Police wrapped up the search at 6:45 p.m.
