Video shows Pulse gunman at Kissimmee mosque days before massacre American Muslim Leadership Council says video shows Omar Mateen
KISSIMMEE, Fla. – New video was released Wednesday morning of Pulse gunman Omar Mateen, showing him at a Kissimmee mosque four days before the mass shooting.
The American Muslim Leadership Council held a news conference to talk about the video, which shows Mateen inside the building on June 8, walking across a room.
The mosque said the video was discovered after the the FBI told officials that Mateen had visited the facility.
The mosque said Mateen, who was with his wife and child, prayed for 10 minutes and left. Mateen is not seen on the video with any family members.
Mateen shot and killed 49 people inside the gay Orlando nightclub on June 12. Fifty-three others were injured in the attack.
