Misspelled word painted in Volusia County school zone Viewer sends in picture to News 6 showing 'school' spelled wrong
DELTONA, Fla. – School is starting in Central Florida within weeks, but it appears that someone in Volusia County failed their spelling test before classes began.
A viewer sent in a picture to News 6 on Saturday of the newly painted school zone outside of Pine Ridge High School in Deltona showing "school" misspelled twice -- as "SCOHOL."
It appeared on Monday morning that the error had already been fixed.
Classes in Volusia County start on Aug. 15.
