SpaceX targets Feb. 18 for Space Station resupply launch Dragon capsule to carry supplies to space station
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – SpaceX tweeted Wednesday that it is targeting Feb. 18 for its next launch.
A specific launch time has not been released.
The mission will include a Falcon 9 rocket sending a Dragon capsule full of supplies to the International Space Station, including a University of Florida plant experiment.
The rocket will lift off from Launch Pad 39A at Kennedy Space Center.
The mission will be SpaceX's 10th under a NASA Commercial Resupply Services contract worth roughly $3 billion.
SpaceX has not launched from Florida since last August, before a Sept. 1 rocket explosion that severely damaged its pad at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station's Launch Complex 40.
