Delta IV rocket launch from Cape Canaveral scrubbed due to weather Next launch attempt set for Saturday

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – A Delta IV Heavy rocket was scrubbed due to weather on Thursday afternoon from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
The rocket, which is carrying a classified U.S. spy satellite, was originally supposed to launch early Thursday afternoon.
Just before the launch, the United Launch Alliance scrubbed the launch for weather issues.
ULA said the next launch attempt is scheduled for Saturday at 1:51 p.m. Weather is 60 percent favorable Saturday.
The launch will be the 32nd by a Delta IV rocket since its debut in 2002, but just the ninth by the heavy-lift version that first flew in 2004.
The launch also kicks off what could be a busy month of June on the Eastern Range. A SpaceX Falcon 9 and ULA's Atlas V are lined up for launches June 14 and June 24, respectively.
