The Sheriff's Office Game Over Task Force sought Bradley for about 24 hours, according to Lt. Dan Singleton. They worked with other agencies, including Cocoa Police Department to apprehend him at an acquaintance's house on Broadmoor Drive in Cocoa. After a brief standoff, Bradley surrendered to police.

Investigators determined that Monday night, Bradley approached Tinsley on a stairwell, attempting to rob him. Tinsley resisted and Bradley hit him in the head, then shot him multiple times, according to the release.

Tinsley attempted to escape by running up the stairs and into an apartment. Bradley chased Tinsley through the apartment where more gunfire was heard. Tinsley left through the back door, getting down a flight of stairs before collapsing and succumbing to his wounds.

Investigators believe the pair didn't know each other before this incident.
