Police seek suspect accused of shooting man in head

Warrant issued for first-degree murder

ORLANDO, Fla. – Police have identified a suspect who they say shot and killed a man last month at an Orlando apartment complex.

Orlando police were called to the Reserves of Rosemont apartments near Orange Blossom Trail around 2 p.m. Nov. 18. When they arrived, they found 22-year-old Alrington Hicks with a gunshot wound to the head.

Two men were questioned at the time, but no arrests were made.

A first-degree murder warrant has been issued for George Lee Holmes Jr., 33, in the shooting. Officials are also trying to identify another person of interest in the case.
