News 6 partner Florida Today reported that the victim identified the shooter and told police that he was talking with him moments before Williams pulled out a gun and started firing. Officers found four bullet casings in the road.

Officers tracked down the driver of a silver Malibu with missing hubcaps that was seen speeding from the Jan. 18 shooting scene.

Officers contacted Williams, who owns a similar vehicle, and took him into custody. Williams denied being involved in the shooting.

He was booked into the Brevard County Jail Complex and ordered held without bond.
