The high temperature in Orlando will be in the mid-50s on Wednesday, and by 4 p.m. the temperature will be about 50 degrees.

There's an 80 percent coverage of rain across Central Florida on Wednesday.

The overnight low will dip to 43 degrees.

"On Thursday, we will wrap the rain up early and begin to improve a little. The high will be 64, and the low will drop back to 51," Local 6 meteorologist Tom Sorrells said.

Friday will be a partly sunny day with a high of 78 degrees.

The highs over the weekend will be in the low 80s.

A major winter storm that brought snow and ice as south as the Florida Panhandle has caused flight delays and cancellations at Orlando International Airport.  In all, more than 3,000 flights throughout the country were canceled on Tuesday.
