3 cotton-top tamarins born at Central Florida Zoo

Guests witness birth of animals

SANFORD, Fla. – The Central Florida Zoo reported the birth of three cotton-top tamarins on Tuesday, an unusual occurrence because cotton-top tamarins usually give birth to twins.

The births took place while the mother was on exhibit, and guests got the opportunity to witness the live births, zoo officials said.
