ORLANDO, Fla. – To help celebrate the sunshine season, Tropical Smoothie Cafe will be giving out 16 oz. smoothies on Friday, June 16 from 2-7 p.m., for wearing a pair of flip flops.
If a customer comes in wearing flips flops, they will not only receive a free smoothie, but also a limited edition 16 oz. 20th anniversary souvenir cup.

The holiday, dubbed "National Flip Flop Day," was created by Tropical Smoothie Cafe to celebrate every third Friday in June for their valued customers and to kick-off fundraising for Camp Sunshine of Casco, Maine.
Camp Sunshine invites ill children and their families to put aside the stress and severity of having to deal with a life-threatening sickness and just have some fun.
Over the past ten years, Tropical Smoothie Cafe has been able to donate over $4 million to Camp Sunshine.
