Vehicle fire evacuates Apopka High School Video from Sky 6 shows charred van
APOPKA, Fla. – Apopka High School was evacuated Monday because of a vehicle fire, officials said.
Officials said Fire Rescue crews were at the school, located at 555 Martin St., but all on-campus activities resumed after the evacuation was lifted at 12:30 p.m., said Lorena Hitchcock, of Orange County Schools .
Sky 6 helicopter video showed the charred van after the fire was put out.
No other details have been released.
