ORMOND BEACH, Fla. – Volusia County authorities are searching for the thieves they say broke into a woman's car at a day care and stole her purse.
Police said the theft occurred outside of a day care on U.S. 1 in Ormond Beach.
In surveillance video, the thieves drove up in a silver car next to the woman's car and smashed the window before stealing her purse.
Police said they are warning people not to leave their valuables in sight.
The thieves have not been located.
