ORLANDO, Fla. – When a Florida college student's ex-girlfriend sent him a letter of apology, he went old school on his response.

Well, he only went "school" on Elizabeth, his ex.

Nick Lutz, a student at University of Central Florida, went over his former love's letter with a red pen; critiquing each inaccuracy, misspelling and grammar mistake.

Lutz even took off points for Elizabeth's poor handwriting. Ouch!

According to Lutz, he received the letter after putting an end to the relationship. Lutz felt there was too much sneaking going on.

"Four months in she started hiding her phone and I heard she had code names for guys in her contacts list." Lutz told Newsbeat.

After adding up all the demerits marked down on the four-page letter, Lutz gave it a final score of 61, for a D- grade.

Lutz then posted the letter and his grade to Twitter, which has been "liked" over 300,000 times since it was posted on Feb. 17.

As for Elizabeth, we can only imagine she is looking for a new boyfriend. One who doesn't take penmanship too seriously.
