FCSO: Woman, 18, threatens ex-boyfriend, his girlfriend with knife

Woman entered home just before 4 a.m., deputies say

PALM COAST, Fla. – A Palm Coast woman was arrested early Saturday after Flagler County deputies said she unlawfully entered her ex-boyfriend's home and threatened his girlfriend and him.

Deputies said Kaitlin McBride, 18, went to her ex-boyfriend's house just before 4 a.m. to pick up her cat and a video game. She told deputies that she has contacted her former boyfriend and he told her she could come over anytime, deputies said.

Her ex-boyfriend told deputies that he and his girlfriend were sleeping when McBride entered the home, jumped on his girlfriend and punched and threatened her with a knife, according to the Sheriff's Office. He told deputies that McBride battered his girlfriend then held both victims at knife point before fleeing in a white vehicle, deputies said.

As deputies were responding to the home, they saw a car matching the description of the one McBride was described to have been driving traveling on Seminole Woods Boulevard, the Sheriff's Office said. Deputies said they caught up with her and pulled her over.

During their investigation, deputies found the cat and video game, as well as a knife in the floorboard of the car, deputies said. 

Based off of their investigation and evidence collected, deputies arrested McBride. She was taken to the Flagler County Jail and charged with robbery home invasion with a deadly weapon, battery and petit theft, deputies said.
