Woman arrested on murder charge in teen's shooting death at Orlando park

Quintice Caldwell arrested in death of Khalyl M. Wilson

ORLANDO, Fla. – A 32-year-old woman was arrested on a murder charge in connection with the shooting death of an 18-year-old man at an Orlando park, police said.

Orlando police said Quintice Caldwell was arrested on a charge of third-degree murder in the death of Khalyl M. Wilson, who was shot Sunday evening at Pleasant Valley Park.

Wilson was found near the park entrance with at least one gunshot wound to his upper torso, police said. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died, police said.

Police said a search warrant was executed Wednesday in connection to Wilson's death after a wanted vehicle was located at a home on Willow Run.

During the search warrant, Caldwell was arrested on charges of cannabis possession and taken to the Orlando Police Department.

Caldwell confessed to her involvement in the shooting, police said.

No other details have been released by police.
