Woman found dead near train tracks in Apopka, deputies say

Deputies: No signs of trauma found on woman's body

APOPKA, Fla. – A woman's body was found near a set of train tracks Sunday morning in Apopka, Orange County deputies said.

Deputies said they received a call at 4:38 a.m. when someone reported that the woman's body was near the tracks at the intersection of East 13th Street and South Christiana Avenue.

Investigators said Sunday morning that they believed the woman was in her mid 30s, but later identified her as 27-year-old Tina Marie Pocasangre-Lopez.

Detectives said there were no signs of trauma on her body and an autopsy is expected to take place.

The incident remains under investigation, deputies said.
