Orange County deputies search for 2 masked intruders

ORLANDO, Fla. – A woman was robbed late Thursday after two masked intruders, one of whom had a gun, forced their way into her Orlando home, according to deputies.

The armed home invasion happened just before midnight Thursday in the 5300 block of Davisson Avenue.

According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, deputies received a 911 call from a 29-year-old woman, who said she answered knocks on her door and two masked men barged in.

Deputies said the intruders rummaged through the woman's house and stole at least one item, but authorities would not say what was taken, citing an ongoing investigation.

The intruders fled in an unknown direction.

The woman was not injured.

Deputies said there was a 20-minute delay in reporting the incident after the woman called 911 from another home.

Anyone with information about the home invasion is asked to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.
