Xenith recalls football helmets due to head injury hazard

Xenith has voluntarily recalled 5,900 football helmets due to head injury hazard.

The recall is focused on Xenith Epic Varsity, X2E Varsity, X2 Varsity and youth football helmets with a gloss or metallic shell made between May 2015 and March 2016.

Xenith received 29 reports of helmets cracking. No injuries were reported.

The company urges customers who have recalled helmets to immediately stop using them and contact Xenith for a replacement helmet.

The serial number is printed on a white sticker inside the helmet. You can find the complete list of serial numbers of the helmet models being recalled on the Xenith's website
