GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gainesville Raceway roared to life with the return of the Gatornationals.

A racing tradition since 1970, the raw power of the hot rods is famous for rattling the bones of spectators at the top of the grandstands!

But how does it feel to be behind the wheel and in control of one of these racing machines?

NHRA funny car driver Buddy Hull stopped by News 6 to tell Sports Director Jamie Seh about it on the March 9 edition of “After The Whistle.”

A third-generation racer, Hull combines an energetic personality with an intense competitive streak.
