ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Pride played its first game of the 2024 season in Louisville Saturday night, battling Racing Louisville to a draw and earning a point in the NWSL standings.

The Pride was down 2-0 in the first 20 minutes of the match at Lynn Family Stadium, but secured two goals and kept Louisville from scoring again, even though they played with a player down from the 62nd minute on after defender Kylie Strom got a yellow card.

Four players made their debuts at Saturday’s game: midfielders Angelina, Morgan Gautrat, Ally Lemos and Luana.

The Pride is fourth in the NWSL rankings, behind North Carolina, Chicago and Kansas City.

The team now prepares for its home opener in Orlando at INTER&Co Stadium in Orlando on Friday, March 22 against Angel City.
