CHRISTMAS, Fla. – A 72-year-old woman was killed Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Orange County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The FHP said Linda Clouting, of West Melbourne, died in the wreck, which was reported around 6:05 a.m. on eastbound S.R. 520 near State Road 528.
Troopers said a Ford four-door driven by a 74-year-old man was northbound on S.R. 520 and turned toward S.R. 528 into the direct path of a Jeep SUV.
Clouting was taken to Wuesthoff Hospital, where she died, the FHP said.
The driver of the Ford and the Jeep suffered minor injuries and were taken to area hospitals, according to troopers.
The crash remains under investigation.
