ORLANDO, Fla. – A driver who was pulled over in Orlando for driving recklessly was doing so because he had been shot, police said.
The officer pulled over the car early Thursday on Jackson Street near the Amway Center in downtown Orlando.
The victim, who was bleeding profusely, was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center. He's expected to be OK, Orlando police said.
Police said the man, who is in his 20s, was shot in the shoulder at an apartment complex on Orange Center Boulevard.
Detectives are trying to determine the exact location of the shooting and are working to identify the shooter.
No other details have been released.
