Pedestrian struck, run over, killed in Orange County Fatal crash happened at Lee Road and Edgewater Drive No description found
ORLANDO, Fla. – A pedestrian is dead after getting hit by a car and run over by another vehicle Sunday night in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash happened around 7:50 p.m. at Lee Road and Edgewater Drive in Orlando.
The FHP said the pedestrian, only identified as a male, walked into the direct path of a car and was struck and knocked into another lane, where another vehicle ran him over.
The pedestrian died at the scene.
The drivers were not injured.
The intersection of Lee Rd and Edgewater was shut down but later reopened.
